Music Theory seems to be a stumbling block for many musicians. It is considered that performance is all that is needed to succeed as a musician. There is evidence however, that by taking a more balanced approach to practical and theory skills will give the musician the opportunity to have a more rounded appreciation of music. Enabling the musician to present their music with greater understanding, flexibility, creativity, sensitivity and musicianship.
